DIRECTIONS

Directions from Schiphol Airport

TAXI
The taxi stand is located in front of the arrival hall of Schiphol Airport. The travel time to MAI Amsterdam is approximately 40 minutes and will cost around €75. The hotel can also arrange a business taxi, the driver will pick you up in the arrival hall. Please note that this is a service which has to be booked in advance.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Take the train from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station, which costs around €4.50 per person (single fare) and has a travel time of approximately 20 minutes. From there it is the fastest way to walk to the hotel. Walk in eastward direction, towards the ‘Prins Hendrikkade’. Walk across the bridge and turn left on the ‘Oudezijds Kolk’. After a few meters stay left to walk onto the ‘Geldersekade’. After a few meters you will find Hotel MAI Amsterdam on your right.

By Car

There are currently ongoing road works in the street of the hotel. This causes nuisance in the surroundings and traffic. Due to the work, the accessibility of the hotel will change for a longer period of time. The hotel will remain accessible to pedestrians, but not to cars.

We strongly advise you to come by public transport when visiting MAI Amsterdam. The hotel is located in the middle of the city centre where there is a lot of one-way traffic and a parking space is hard to find plus very expensive. If you choose to come by car, Parking Centrum Oosterdok is located closest to the hotel at about 10 minutes walking distance. This car park is open 24/7 and has a daily rate of €20 per 24 hours.

Please note that De Geldersekade is closed off to cars between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
